teaching demons at Jurong Primary School

there are pictures!

some random kid standing up

one of the damn trouble-makers.

taking attendance

even that is a hard job, as my cousin takes attendance while Kee controls the riot with heartening bursts of "Shut up!"

warm up exercises, improperly done (part 1)

they seem to think it is a joke not doing warm ups. wait till they get cramp, see who's laughing then.

warm up exercises, improperly done (part 2)

some take the effort though, but end up pushing the ones left, right, in front and behind them for the sake of it.

one of the better ones

Melissa, one who is actually interested in learning and can ride to some degree.

the world's hardest job it ain't

somehow all the kids there magically cannot adjust the height of the seats themselves, when all it requires is just adjusting the adjuster. they didn't even have to use an allen key!

the girl line-up

in my opinion, the most dedicated students among the lot. they can't ride really well (heck, two of them can't ride unassisted) but that's besides the point. the point is, they're willing to learn and show sportsmanship.

a fluke

don't be fooled by this picture. he looks like he succeeded, but it was only due to my 1337 and SUP3RB!! skillz that he looked like he succeeded, which he actually did, but for a second and um, 30cm.

the game

dog and bone on unicycles, the assed-up team with no sense of sporting spirit (incidentally, they won).

a picture of false serenity

while this picture doesn't show, the real scene was much much much noisier and rowdier, as the teammates are screaming obscenities and shit.

i am seriously reconsidering having kids.
