Pics of something..oh yea, Geog trip
Went to the URA at somewhere, took pics and posting them now.
WTF??
Ok... this is one of the lanterns being hung (heh) in the concourse of the school. People sure have a weird sense of humor...
Random pic 1
Taken from a model of the downtown district.
Random pic 2
Upscale housing just outside the business district, taken from the same model blah blah
Random pic 4
More upscale housing, posting this pic because it looks like it's night and blorgh braaaaaaap....
Random pic 5?
Ok, I have no idea what this is. But this was taken in a hurry because everyone was leaving.
Some spoilt globe
Some stupid spoilt interactive globe that we were supposed to be using to do our worksheets, but we can't because obviously it is SPOILT that's why. But it still makes a great picture though.
The pictures here onwards are the ones I personally like.
Along Singapore River?
I like the effect i got from this picture, (goes into a egoistic trip and gushes about my mediocre ELITEZ photo taking skillzz).
Idyllic beach
Nice white balance and no red filters used, i actually managed to create an orange glow from the picture! Notice the focused kite, all pictures from here onwards were taken with manual focus and aperture and shutter settings.
The woman in red
Taken at manual focus (whee the focusing ring is really fun to play with). Man their reconstructions of people really suck. This one looks like bits and piece of maché stuck together. But I like the picture because of the starkness of everything else and focus on the woman to the exclusion of all else.
Voting booth
This is a voting booth that people use in one of the rooms to answer questions thrown at them in an interactive video thing hosted by local comedian Gurmit Singh. Nice how a mundane object is turned into a mundane unidentifiable object.
Ripples
This isn't really hard to take yea? Fast shutter (i think i used 1/400?) and someone's finger to dip into a still body of water and voila! Instant water ripples picture.
Raindrops
Macro shot, manual focus, yadda yadda. Raindrops falling down.
Town?
Nice, see how the buildings look like they're all converging at the top? It's a little warping effect called.... pincushioning i believe.
Reconciling history.
My favourite picture so far. Manual focus, macro shot, blah blah.
NONE of these pictures were photoshopped, thank you.
