tarantella, part 2?

Ok I saw this honking big spider in the bath just now, and have spend 10 treacherous, agonizing minutes trying to take a picture of it in super bad lighting (low light, fluorescent, shadows from my big, fat head.) and I sweated like crazy while trying to steady my shaking hands (I swear I must be suffering from pre-mature arthritis!) and insane humidity.

Almost all, if not all, of the pictures were blurry. Like bleeeeeaahhhhhhh-ry.

So bad, photoshop can't save it much.

Here are the not-so-blurry ones.

The spider was about 2cm long (that's very long!) including the legs. It was a female spider I think and it's... mandible? was really big and scary! The two front pincer like things that point down.

And no, I didn't kill it. Neither was it dead when I took the picture. It tried to move and I waited for it to stop before taking the picture.

I'm quite ok with spiders, as long as they don't drop into my mouth or bite me. After all, they help eat mosquitos and flies which I hate more! In fact I welcome spiders!
